Summer Piano Concert with Alexander Reyes

Join Alexander Reyes for an afternoon piano recital featuring Spanish and American classical music. The program will highlight the works of the romantic-era Spanish composer Isaac Albéniz, as well as works by the Chicago composer Amy Wurtz. Additional short works and improvisations will round out this exciting program.
Trellus: Deep Stretch Meditation
Tuesdays, August 6 & 13 at 6:00 PM
Join us for a 60-minute Deep Stretch class where you'll unwind and recharge. In this free class, we'll hold stretches longer to release tension and promote balance. Then, we'll wrap up with a soothing 15-minute guided meditation. Blood Drive with the American Red Cross

Help other people in our community and give blood. American Red Cross staff will be doing the blood drawing. Register at Red Cross Blood Drive or you may call 800-733-2767 to register. Bring a photo ID or your blood donor card, or two other forms of ID. Eat a healthy meal and drink an extra 16 oz. of water and fluids before the donation. Make a Keychain or Pendant with the 3D Printer

Forward Chicago is hosting a Repair Cafe every 2nd Saturday of the month. This event will be held in our community room located on the first floor in our lobby area. In this program, Forward Chicago volunteers can repair jewelry, sew clothes, and repair general stuff too depending on the item. Adults and teens are welcome.
